Stacy Anding   Age 40
Dental Hygienist/Jewelry Artist/Crazy Lady

What were your reasons for choosing to work with a trainer/nutritionist?  I was urged by a friend to come out to Mission Accomplished and once I met Kim & Alisha, I knew I was in the right place. They motivate me and are always positive. I needed to have help being accountable to myself and I also wanted to work with someone who had a good nutrition background and a mind-body-spirit connection… Mission Accomplished is ALL THAT!  I want to be one of those women you see and think “WOW, look how vibrant and fit she is”… I want to be healthier, feel better, have more energy and participate in activities without feeling out of shape. I have a teen daughter that I want to set a good example for and I want to wear cute clothes and feel good in them… Basically I want to feel comfortable in my own skin again!
How long have you been working/consulting with Mission Accomplished?   6 months
What are some of your achievements since working with Mission Accomplished? Transforming my diet and how I view nutrition, my weight loss is ongoing (I have lost 25#) and I am building muscles (I can feel them under there), I’m working out with regularity and actually WANTING to do it! I have a change of attitude towards myself, a positive outlook on life in general and I feel TOUGHER too (Must be from “flipping that tire at 6am Boot Camp”)!
What are some difficulties you’ve had along the way & how have you gotten through them?
Some days I feel like a ROCK STAR and other days like I have so FAR to GO….But I try to just focus on the day-to-day process and realize I am so much better than I was when I wasn’t doing anything at all! I have learned to always have a water bottle with me; my husband and I workout together in addition to my MA workouts;  I have applied Body Ecology Principles to my diet to help recover my immune and digestive system. I rely on talking and e-mailing Kim & Alisha when I am struggling, and I have surrounded myself with a great support network. My advice to those who want it, “Learn to do things that get you out of your comfort zone, (it helps break bad habits), love yourself at all stages of the journey and focus on the journey, rather than the outcome. Give yourself a break when you “fall”, get back up and keep going”!
