What were your reasons for choosing to work with a trainer/nutritionist?
My weight loss had stalled and I needed some help to break the plateau and lose body fat. I am racing the Ironman 70.3 Chattanooga and Ironman Wi this summer and wanted to be as close to my ideal body weight and body fat as possible.

How long have you been working/consulting with Mission Accomplished?
3 months from November thru January doing nutrition consulting/monitoring

What are some of your achievements since working with Mission Accomplished?  During the 3 months I worked with Kim I was able to drop 32 pounds and over 15% body fat and get to a great racing weight. I also increased my lean muscle mass, which is awesome! I have never felt more prepared physically and mentally as I do now!

What are some difficulties you’ve had along the way & how have you gotten through them?
Honestly, didn’t have many difficulties. I love a challenge, so working towards a goal is always fun for me and I give it my best effort. We decided to try a high fat, low carb diet and train my body to burn fat instead of carbs and it has worked great for my training for my upcoming endurance events.

With any journey, you always have ups and downs, and I think it is important to never lose sight of your goal. When you mess up, don’t beat yourself up, every day is a new opportunity to start over.
